We successfully concluded the staff mobility and training program for December 2024 in China with the final three seminars focusing on Young Scientists and Public Management for ASEAN Countries. These seminars provided an excellent platform for UniMAP lecturers to exchange ideas, gain insights, and build valuable connections with ASEAN partners from Laos, Cambodia, the Philippines, and Vietnam. This initiative not only allowed us to promote UniMAP's expertise and achievements but also fostered meaningful discussions on academic and research collaboration in the region. The training sessions proved to be highly fruitful, equipping our staff with new knowledge, skills, and perspectives. They also opened avenues for potential joint projects and initiatives with our ASEAN counterparts, reinforcing UniMAP's presence and reputation on an international level. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the Universiti Malaysia Perlis management team and the Consulate General of the People's Republic of China in Penang 中国驻槟城总领事馆 for their unwavering support and assistance throughout this program. Their contributions were instrumental in making this initiative a success. As we move forward, we are excited about the prospect of further strengthening our collaborations and partnerships with China and ASEAN countries in 2025. Together, we aim to build a more robust network of academic and research excellence, ensuring a bright future for all involved.
