On October 11, Universiti Malaysia Perlis (UniMAP) had the opportunity to virtually sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Nahda University in Beni Suef (NUB) from Egypt. Representing NUB was Prof. Dr. Hossam Elmalahi, the President himself.

 

We are very eager to strengthen our cooperation with NUB through this important occasion, notably in terms of advanced research expertise and technology education (in the areas of computer science, biosciences, and chemistry), and to enhance both institutions' technical capacities.

 

Also present during the MoU were Prof. Ir. Dr. Mohd Shukry Abd Majid, the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Academic and International), Assoc. Prof. Ts. Dr. Siti Khadijah Za’aba, Dean of the Faculty of Electronic Engineering and Technology (FKTEN), and Assoc. Prof. Ir. Dr. Umi Fazara Md. Ali, Director of the Centre for International Engagement (CIE).
