On September 7, CIE welcomed a visit by Prof. Dr. Obid Tursunov and Dr. Dilshod Kodirov from the Tashkent Institute of Irrigation and Agriculture Mechanization Engineers (TIIAME).  Fresh from the MoU signing ceremony between UniMAP and TIIAME at GTEST 2023 last week, Prof Tursunov and Dr. Kodirov visited UniMAP to have further discussion on collaboration activities and also to give a research talk to UniMAP staff as organized by the Centre of Excellence for Biomass Utilization, Universiti Malaysia Perlis (UniMAP). 

 

We are proud of Prof Tursunov who was a UniMAP postgraduate alumni and among the issues we discussed were how to attract more international students to UniMAP as well as the aspects of collaboration that can benefit both institutions.
