MyEdu Company, led by their CEO, Ms Pesly Chua, paid a visit to UniMAP for discussion on collaboration opportunities with Institutes of Higher Education in China. The meeting was chaired by Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Academic & International), Prof. Ir. Dr. Mohd Shukry Abdul Majid, and in attendance were CIE director Assoc. Prof. Ir. Dr. Umi Fazara Md Ali, Dean of Faculty of Chemical Engineering Technology, Assoc. Prof. Ir. Ts. Dr. Mohd Firdaus Omar, Deputy Dean (Academic & Research) of Fakulti Kejuruteraan dan Teknologi Elektronik Unimap, Assof. Prof. Dr. Mohamad Halim Abd. Halim, Deputy Dean (Student Affairs & Alumni) Fakulti Kejuruteraan & Teknologi Elektrik Unimap, Ts. Dr. Syamir Alihan Showkat Ali, Deputy Director of Pusat TVET Universiti Malaysia Perlis, Ts. Mohd Haidiezul Jamal Ab Hadi, Programme Chairperson of FKTK Food Technology Program, Dr. Noor Amirah Abdul Halim, Head of Mechatronic Department, FKTE, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Kamarulzaman Kamaruddin, and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Shazmin Aniza Abdul Shukor, the head of CIRAS COE.
After the discussion, MyEdu robotic team took the opportunity to showcase their educational robot. The team will be conducting robotic training workshop for UniMAP staff in Perlis for the coming few days.
