On September 22, Universiti Malaysia Perlis (UniMAP) had the opportunity to sign a virtual Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Shibaura Institute of Technology (SIT), Japan. Representing SIT was the university president, Prof. Dr. Jun Yamada.

Through this wonderful partnership with SIT, we are eager to venture into potential research collaboration in biomedical engineering and technology, in addition to exchanging expertise and joint academic programmes.

SIT is also our partner within the Asia Technological University Network (ATU-NET).
