Today, CIE had the pleasure of hosting the first meeting online between UniMAP and the International University of Management (IUM), Namibia. The meeting was chaired by Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Academic & International), Prof. Ir. Dr Mohd Shukry bin Abdul Majid, and in attendance were CIE director, Assoc. Prof. Ir. Dr. Umi Fazara Md Ali and team, Dean of FPK, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Rezal Hamzah and team, Dean of FKTEN, Assoc. Prof. Ts. Dr. Siti Khadijah Zaaba and Dean of CGS, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Rozyanty Rahman. On the other hand, the IUM team was led by its Vice-Chancellor, Prof Osmund Mwandemele as well as several other top management executives.
 
Many potential areas of collaboration were discussed during the meeting, including offering of postgraduate programs to IUM staff, staff and student exchange, dual degree programs, joint research and many more. Both institutions are enthusiastic to establish partnerships and work together for many years to come. We are thrilled with the positive outcome of today’s meeting and look forward to welcoming our first institutional partner from Namibia soon.
